• Trinity Baptist Church

Trinity Baptist church was established in 1990 and is located in Elaine Brittel, Livingstone, Zambia. Trinity’s mission is to glorify God through the preaching of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to the lost sinners and the disciplining of believers.

The current church membership is now at 46 people with others awaiting baptism. Our Sunday attendance is over 80 people. The Church is led by Pastor Michael Bwembya who is assisted by an elder and a deacon. We are grateful to the Lord for the promising numerical growth and a membership that is looking for opportunities to be of service to God.

  • Emmanuel Baptist Church - Chelston

Emmanuel Baptist Church was started in 2005, when a small group of families got together to seek opportunities for collective worship and the propagation of the gospel of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. With the passage of time it was felt that there was need to associate with the churches were they had hailed from.

Lusaka Baptist leadership helped in the mediation process and to provide eldership oversight with the goal of later appointing elders from the congregation. Elder Paul Mumba was assigned from the LBC leadership team to provide spiritual leadership at Emmanuel Baptist Church. The church came under LBC oversight around October 2012. The Church meets for congregational worship services at Chelston High School in Avondale in Lusaka.

The Church meets every Sunday morning and evening for the public worship of the Triune God and we are very thankful for the participation of God’s people during those special times in   God’s presence. We also have midweek Bible Studies held every Wednesday in the various homes   of   the members.

  • Calvary Baptist Church

Calvary Baptist Church was planted by LBC under the Urban Outreach work in the late 1980s. Brothers and Sisters who graduated from UNZA, who were associated with LBC saw the need of starting a church in Chipata. Our brother Mr Kalolo Mulenga was sent to help with pioneering this work and they began meeting in a classroom at Hillside Basic School.

The Church has a current membership of 52 lead by Pastor Ngoma and three deacons, Mr. Chilekwa Alfred, Mr. Kabwe Noble and Mr. Witti Chilekwa. Calvary Baptist has planted two churches (i.e. Chiparamba Baptist and Magazine Baptist) and we are also providing oversight to Carimeli Baptist which left the southern Baptist to join the reformed Baptist work in Zambia.

Chiparamba Baptist – has been in existence for the past ten years. Pastor Mtimba Ngulube is our missionary pastor being supported by Calvary Baptist Church. Magazine has been our mission outreach point for the past one year six months. We engaged Sangwani Mtika as an intern last year to spearhead this work. After his successful completion of his internship, it was unanimously agreed that we take him on as a missionary pastor under Calvary Baptist church.

Our theme for this year is “The Great Commission Our Mission.” we would like all church members to live a lifestyle of evangelism. We are grateful to the Lord for His faithfulness in sustaining us as a family and His church.

  • Chianjano Baptist Church

The Church has a membership of 32 believers (as of beginning of 2015) mainly comprised of skilled craftsmen, domestic workers, small scale entrepreneurs, retirees and youths in school. We meet at plot No609/247 Zambezi Rd, Foxdale. The Pastor, Clement Kaunda is the only elder at the church assisted by two deacons, Mr Ken Lutina and Kingstone Susu.

We are currently planning to strengthen our ministries to reach out to the surrounding areas of Foxdale, Roma Park, Roma, Kalundu, Chamba Valley and Chudleigh. We seek to propagate the truth not only through preaching and teaching but also by assisting the community to access and read sound books and other literature.

  • Chongwe Missions Station

The Chongwe Mission Station was started initially as a preaching point on 30th March 2014. Chongwe district is rapidly expanding and there was a great need to set up a reformed work in the area east of Lusaka. The Church has been led by an interim committee consisting of 3 locally based men and some members of the mission’s team of Lusaka Baptist Church. The mission recently celebrated the attainment of one year in existence on 12th April and Pastor Kalifungwa preached the anniversary Sermon.

The mission has setup a number on ministries to the people in Chongwe, among them, a Sunday school class running every Lord’s Day and the Chikwela Bible Club which takes place every Saturday. Saturday outreach has continued consistently in spite of fluctuating numbers in attendance. The ladies Ministry also meets once per month. The Church has recently acquired a plot and we hope to start construction at the site in June 2015.

Our LBC intern, Mr Benson Nkausu has joined the mission work as a full-time worker. We thank God for the faithful preaching of God’s word every Lord’s Day. Pray for us as we start another year. Pray specifically for preaching of God’s word, outreach, and salvation of souls, personal spiritual growth and construction of a Church building. Amen.
