Who We Are
Lusaka Baptist Church is a Reformed Baptist Church founded in 1960. We are located on Lubu Road, in Lusaka, the capital city of Zambia, Southern Africa and we celebrated our 50th anniversary in July 2010. LBC is a reformed fellowship emphasizing the worship of the Triune God through prayer and the consistent, in-depth proclamation of His truth from the Holy Scriptures.Â
What We Beleive
We believe in the divine authority of Scripture, humanity’s fall and redemption through Christ’s sacrifice, salvation by faith, His resurrection and return, final judgment, the nature and mission of the church, the observance of baptism and the Lord’s Supper, and the indwelling work of the Holy Spirit in believers.
Pastors Profile
Pastor Ronald Kalifungwa is the full-time pastor and part of the eldership at Lusaka Baptist Church. Ronald was brought up a Roman Catholic and believed for a long time that he was a Christian, until in 1981 he was convicted of his sinful state under the preaching of God’s word at Lusaka Baptist Church, and was born again.
