About This Station
Emmanuel Baptist Church in Mpika is a vibrant congregation celebrating over 30 years of faithful gospel ministry in the Muchinga Province. The church combines pulpit ministry, pastoral care, and bold community outreach-including a remarkable prison ministry at the local correctional facility. The church is committed to reaching all segments of society with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Leadership
Pastor and Missionary Sydney Mwape leads the congregation with the support of one Elder, providing pastoral care and spiritual direction to the church and its various ministry expressions.

Outreach & Evangelism
The congregation is actively engaged in multiple outreach initiatives. Monthly door-to-door evangelism reaches the community. A unique and impactful prison ministry at Mpika Correctional Facility serves over 250 inmates, providing spiritual care and gospel witness. The church also maintains an evangelical literature table, hosts student outreach at ZCA (Zambia College of Agriculture), and distributes Bibles and Christian tracts throughout the region.
2026 Highlight
Emmanuel Baptist will host the Evangel Conference in May 2026, bringing the broader LBC family together for biblical teaching and fellowship.
