The Puritan Conference 2026

37th Zambia Reformed Conference

The Puritan Conference 2026

Recovering a Christ-centred life
24-28 August 2026  ·  Dream Valley Lodge, Lusaka
Why the Puritans, and why now?

For over three decades, the Zambia Annual Reformed Conferences have gathered Christians and their families from across Zambia and beyond for a week of sustained biblical teaching. For the 37th annual edition, we turn our attention to the Puritans, those 17th-century preachers whose experiential theology, searching preaching, and Christ-centred piety still stir the souls of their readers today.

The Puritan Conferences are run by the Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary (PRTS) and Reformation Heritage Books (RHB), and have now come to the rest of the world. Zambia has been asked to host the first African edition, and Lusaka Baptist Church is honoured to be among the host churches. Expect Reformed preaching that makes much of the grace of God in the gospel, warm fellowship, and book tables stocked with godly reading for all ages.

Registration covers conference sessions, morning and afternoon teas, and lunch. Basic accommodation is also included, arranged in the homes of our host-church members and a few other locations around Lusaka. If you would prefer a lodge, we are glad to guide you to good options nearby. Just let us know.

Do international guests need a visa?

Most nationalities need a Zambian visa, usually available on arrival or online via the e-Visa portal. We are happy to provide a formal invitation letter to support your application. Contact us at least six weeks before the conference with your travel details.

Will the sessions be recorded?

Yes. All sessions will be recorded and made available after the conference.

Is there a programme for children?

Yes. A Children’s Conference runs in parallel with the main sessions from Tuesday to Friday for children aged 4 to 14. It has its own registration and fee and follows an age-appropriate programme teaching the children from God’s Word alongside their parents.

What is the Women’s Conference?

On Wednesday and Thursday afternoons a parallel Women’s Conference runs alongside the main sessions. It is taught by Mary Beeke and is open to all registered women; no separate fee is required.

Are registration fees refundable?

Yes. Refunds can be processed for requests received at least two months before the conference. Please contact us with your registration details and our team will assist.
